Program Objectives

-The program aims to provide education in all aspects of Public Relations, one of the basic functions of contemporary management, such as corporate communication, interpersonal communication, advertising, and research methods.

-It aims to train students who have comprehensive knowledge of  Public Relations concepts and tactics and can analyze the academic literature of the Public Relations discipline.

-It aims to convey not only general ethics but also communication and public relations ethics to students.

-It aims to integrate theory and the practice with the courses covering strategy and implementation processes of Public Relations fields, and projects.

- Creative and versatile thinking, creative and strategic solutions not only for social issues but also for the sector, while considering professional ethical values and also having competence required by the sector are the main objectives to be gained for students.

It aims to train public relations experts required by organizations, such as public institutions, commercial organizations, non-governmental organizations and similar non-profit organizations.

It aims to integrate the theory and the practice with the courses covering strategy and implementation processes of public relations fields, and projects.

It aims to provide the most up-to-date academic and professional knowledge in the field.

It aims to provide a broad vision by presenting the way and stages of public relations practice, ethical principles and professional / technical knowledge supporting by national and international examples and resources.

It aims to reveal students' abilities in strategic communication management, corporate communication activities, building corporate identity, creating corporate image, social responsibility project management, internal communication, crisis communication, and media management, and to enable its graduates to make a difference.

Public Relations, as being a interdisciplinary field, provides qualified knowledge in many fields such as sociology, social psychology, philosophy, politics, marketing, business management, and enables students to evaluate and interpret social issues.
