Program Objectives.

Program aims to train students who can follow current understanding of advertising in the basis of both Turkey and the world, and even give them new horizons..

It supports the students to analyze and interpret advertising research and reports as a result of adopting the framework and stages of scientific research and make valuable scientific studies by considering ethical principles and academic writing rules.

It enables the student to access and make the most of national and international publications

It aims to train qualified students who can evaluate academic studies or practical implementation in the field, as critically, considering global trends while adopting local values.

It aims to train communication specialists and scientists who can understand the world of communication, technologies and society, which is constantly changing, and interpret their theoretical backgrounds on a phenomenological basis depending on the theoretical education they get, and even reveal their theoretical backgrounds.

Program Objectives.

The program aims to train students who are competent in academic literature and the concepts and theories of advertising.

It enables the students to adopt the ethical values and the importance of lifelong learning.

It aims to convey the necessary academic knowledge about the principles of scientific research as well as providing theoretical information about the field of advertising

It enables the students to grasp academic writing rules

It aims to teach the students how to evaluate an academic text and research data.

It is aims to provide the student with the competence in following the national and international literature related to the field.

DEPARTMENT OF ADVERTISING AND PUBLICITY NON-THESIS MASTER PROGRAM

Objective of the Program

  • It is that that students have knowledge about the basis of advertising, the understanding of advertising in traditional and new media, the basic methods in the planning and evaluation stages of advertising campaigns, integrated marketing communication and its strategic role, and the awareness of the importance of the brand and brand management process, while at the same time gaining the ability to interpret other marketing communication efforts is aimed.
  • In line with the examination of current applications in the field, it is aimed to provide students with qualificatiom needed by the sector.
  • The program aims to provide students with qualifications that meet not only national but also international standards in the field of advertising.
  • It is aimed students be able to problematize a subject related to the field by adhering to ethical principles and to express it as an academic text in line with the academic writing rules as a result of the students having knowledge about the stages and scope of scientific research,

  • Graduates of the Advertising and Publicity department have the chance to work in a wide range of public institutions and many units of the private sector.
  • Graduates can have the opportunity to work in many positions to meet the communication needs of the sector, from marketing or brand communication units of institutions to advertising and public relations agencies, media planning companies, non-governmental organizations and political parties.
  • Graduates can work as copywriters or art directors in creative teams of advertising agencies; researcher, strategic planning expert or consultant in the strategy unit; customer representative in the customer relations department; producer in the production unit; media planning specialist in media planning companies; social media specialist in digital agencies; In the advertiser side, they can act as a brand manager or corporate communication manager.
  • Graduates can offer outsourcing and marketing services to the market in areas such as creative group, strategic planning, market and consumer research, media planning and purchasing, customer relations.
